Callusan cream-mousse uses urea at different strengths to attract water and soften rough, hardened skin. Regular use supports smoother-feeling heels and feet.
Frequent Inquiries
Callusan® — Frequently Asked Questions
How does Callusan soften dry or callused skin?
How is the foam different from creams or ointments?
The mousse absorbs quickly and avoids a heavy, greasy film—one reason foot-care pros like foam for repeat daily use.
Is it suitable for sensitive or diabetic skin?
Several variants are fragrance-/dye-free and labeled as suitable for diabetics. If you have diabetes, neuropathy, or poor circulation, ask your clinician before starting any new foot-care routine.
Is Callusan only for feet?
Extra and Forte are commonly used for rough feet and heels; Hydro (5% urea) is also suitable for body care. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes.
Which strength is right for me?
- Hydro — 5% urea: Daily moisture for dry/sensitive skin (body & feet).
- Extra — 10% urea: For very dry, chapped, or rough skin; widely used in diabetic foot care.
- Forte — >15% urea: Intensive softening for stubborn callus and heel cracks; with shea butter.
- Rapid — 5% urea + Iceland moss & blackcurrant: Helps prevent fungus in fungus-sensitive skin; not a medicine.
- Fresh: For damp/sweaty feet (deodorising/antiperspirant positioning).
How do I use Callusan correctly?
- Use on clean, dry, unbroken skin.
- Shake well, then hold the can nozzle facing down to dispense.
- Apply a walnut-sized amount, massage until absorbed, 1–2× daily.
Tip for heels: some clinicians layer an occlusive ointment over urea products at night; if you have diabetes or neuropathy, ask your clinician first.
Where can I buy Callusan?

Orders & Shipping
Shipping times and rates vary by destination and carrier. See our Shipping Policy for live rates, cut-off times, and tracking.
- Orders placed before our daily cut-off ship the same or next business day (unless otherwise stated).
- We’ll email tracking as soon as your parcel is scanned by the carrier.
Returns & Refunds
Unopened items in original packaging may be eligible for return—see our Returns Policy for the window, process, and exclusions (e.g., used aerosols can’t ship via air).
Can I use it with other routines or treatments?
Yes—many routines combine moisturizing with gentle professional exfoliation. Don’t cut calluses at home. For suspected athlete’s foot, use an approved antifungal and see a clinician. Rapid is preventive only, not therapeutic.
Side effects & patch testing
Temporary mild stinging or redness can occur. Patch test first. Stop use and seek advice if irritation persists or if you notice cracks, bleeding, infection, or diabetic-foot concerns.
Important safety & storage (aerosol mousse)
- Pressurised & flammable: protect from sunlight; do not expose above 50 °C / 122 °F. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames; no smoking. Do not pierce or burn the can. Keep out of children’s reach.
Ingredients & allergens
See the INCI list on your can; formulas vary by variant (e.g., Forte includes shea butter; Hydro 5% urea; Extra 10% urea).
